"DOWNTOWN"
KERRY BROWN
Granbury Live Producer

The multi-talented Kerry Brown, dubbed by the late Tom McRae as "DOWNTOWN KERRY BROWN", grew up in Ballinger and learned to play guitar from his brother Steve. Kerry worked his way through high school and college playing guitar every weekend. He worked as a disc jockey 3 years and moved to Nashville for 7 years as a session musician and songwriter. 6 years ago Kerry began co-writing concerts at Granbury Live, working as a sound engineer and co-wrote "The Flame of Freedom". He has performed nationally with his own band all over the country and will enjoy bringing the musicians he has worked with over the years to the New Granbury Live.
Kerry is a master sound mixer, an excellent guitar player and has an amazing gift for putting together a concert you will love from start to final standing ovation. During the week, he teaches Business Education Courses at R.L. Turner High School in Carrollton. Married to Beth for 33 years, Kerry is father to Katie (a teacher in Colleyville) and Stratton (a student at Texas Tech). Stratton is named after Kerry's favorite guitar, the Fender Stratocaster.
"I am excited to be a part of Granbury Live and working with Sandi, Sister and Susie. We are planning many exciting new concerts this year and will continue to bring the area's top talent to our stage."
Kerry wrote "GRANBURY LIVE PRESENTS COUNTRY", "THE BEAT GOES ON", "JUKEBOX JOURNEY", "FIFTIES CLASS REUNION", and "LONE STAR CHRISTMAS". With Kerry's talents as producer and the incredible cast and band God, our Talent Agent, provides, Granbury Live is planning a great year of concerts.
